Karli Garrett is an actress who has returned to Atlanta from New York City where she went to further pursue her acting career. While in New York for 7 months, Karli was cast in two independent films, as well as cast in the Brooklyn Improv Troupe named ICU where she landed her first NY audition.

Recently, she has landed a principal role on a commercial with Cracker Barrel!

She is originally from Atlanta, GA and has played Shina in "Misty", an Atlanta urban soap opera, the role of Brianna in the short film, The Other Girl, voice-over work for WRFG 89.3 radio station, and played Hillary Scheckle in the dinner theater play Lethal Lecture.

She has performed in several plays, which include String of Pearls, Miracle on 34th Street, Les Liaisons Dangereueses, and HMS Pinafore. Karli has received two University awards for Best Actress in HMS Pinafore and Best Character Actress in The Sisterhood. She also has been recognized for her nomination through ACTF for the Irene Ryan Scholarship at the Kennedy Center.

Additionally, Karli has tapped in the modeling industry where she has appeared in print projects and promoted products and spirits such as Navan Cognac, Crest, Scott Tissue, and the Adam Corolla Project.

Besides working as an actress, Karli also keeps busy by teaching ongoing auditioning, scene study, improvisation, and acting classes for the camera at an acting and modeling school. Additionally, Karli serves as a director and drama instructor for an an after school performing arts program. She teaches elementary school students theatre games, character development, and stage acting techniques while preparing them for their exciting live performance at the end of each semester.

Karli graduated from Kennesaw State University with her BA in Theater. Before transferring to KSU, Karli attended the State University of West Georgia where she performed in over 10 productions and performed in an improv trouped called "So Obnoxious".

Besides, performing with the improv troupe, "The ICU" in Brooklyn, NY. Karli has performed short form and long form improv with the troupes “The OTC" and The Blank Stage Players in Atlanta. “The OTC” has performed for corporate events throughout Atlanta and live shows in Marietta, Duluth and the Punchline Comedy Club.

The Blank Stage puts on long form improv productions based on audience participation and storytelling techniques. Karli has helped produced two theatre shows at Blank Stage as well as two short films with the KSU Film Arts Club.
