A remarkably regal look and sharp features. J.LeRon Cooper possess an intense and striking presence both on and off screen, gaining exposure in both television and magazines worldwide. The son of a carpenter and real estate agent, he is the oldest of three siblings brought up in rural New Jersey. All American values and strong beliefs led J.LeRon to devote many of his teenage years to activism & community service groups. Some of these groups include, Boyscouts of America, AmeriCorps, Region II Male Involvement Advisory Comittee & many other inner city non-profit organizations to offset a sometimes tumultuous family life. In 1996 he became part of P.O.W.E.R an onstage outreach production targeting high risk teens in the tri-state. After three years this initiative lead him to being one of the primary contributors to a book of state clinical service guidelines called, " Guidelilnes for Male Health Services." In addition, he was featured in a series of MTV nationwide Public Service Announcements.
Later, while concentrating on his Bachelors degree in Graphic Design at New Jersey City University and Art Institute of Philadelphia, J.LeRon found part-time work as a tattoo artist in the New York City's Greenwich Village, where he was to be soon discovered by an agent for world reknowned Boss Models NYC. The fast-paced scene of the modeling world thrust the young artist into Europe. Whereafter he returned to New York as a new leader in his field, chronicling his and his fellow artists exploration of the creative end of the art & fashion industry as founder of The Ministry & Creative Director for Nickel Studios NYC.
In early 2002 J.LeRon began accepting television roles on projects such as Lipstick Jungle, Watching the Detectives & Life on Mars. He made his film debut with a small part in Fourty Four and from the outset exhibited an undeniable box office appeal to both male and female audiences. He is known for his compassion and generosity.
