ALAIN SERGILE
Biography
Actor, promotional actor/model, comedian, and local television access producer at the Boston Neighborhood Network. Alain studied American cinema as a course elective in college in Boston, Massachusetts. He had wanted to take Spanish as an elective but was caught with American cinema instead because of class schedule conflict. He was then very delighted to have taken the class and his performing aspirations had begun ever since.
He started to hone his craft in acting training at Boston Casting. Meredith Wilson introduced him to the theatre scene in the musical production of the Music Man. Alain gradually grew a passion for the entertainment industry. He started traveling to New York auditioning for film and television projects. He auditioned for the Warner Brothers hit dating show Change of heart from casting director Robert Russell. He was later contacted by Robert to appear on the Larry elder show as a studio participant where Magic Johnson was making his guest appearance.
In 2003, Alain landed a reality television contract in Boston called the Roomies for XY TV, a new Boston-based cable channel currently airing on RCN digital cable. Later, he was featured on the spec commercial for the Rhode Island international film festival on NBC. He was recently chosen to read for playwright John Stenson's Hurrah for the revolution at the Boston playwright theatre.
Alain currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts and travels to New York City occasionally for film and television projects. Alain will be featured in an upcoming PBS (WGBH) documentary, 2008.
