Welcome to TheRightCast.

I started TheRightCast in the early 2000’s after the dot com bubble popped and I got laid off my my tech job. I set out to learn new programming skills and created TRC as a place where actors could post their headshots and resume. While it never was a huge hit, it did get me started building websites and I’ve gone on to build many, including my other blog/podcast SellingYourScreenplay.com.

I’ve really enjoyed running the SellingYourScreenplay Podcast and have met so many great people through it, I decided to branch out and create a similar podcast for actors.

The goal of TheRightCast is simple: help actors find auditions and book work.

I’m planning on interviewing working actors and will be asking them how they broke in, how they found those early auditions, and how they continue to find work today.
